Under immediate or general supervision, the main duty will consist of recycling.
Will also perform various types of manual, skilled and semi-skilled tasks involved in maintenance of public buildings, parks, grounds, roads and sewers including but not limited to chipping, landscaping, leaf/brush collection, shoveling, plowing, catch basin maintenance, road work, paving/patching, building & grounds maintenance, cleaning, and other related duties as assigned and as needed.
Trade skills such as masonry, tree removal, pesticide application license are highly desirable.
Candidate must be customer service oriented and be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
This is a 40-hour-per-week position.
Must be available for emergency overtime.
Must have a valid Class B or Class A, air brake driver's license (CDL), and a tanker endorsement.
Salary commensurate with the experience. Benefits are in accordance with NJ law. The successful candidate must undergo a background check.
