The Research Foundation at the State University of New York at Oswego invites applications to fill a part-time (20 hours per week) 12-month Project Assistant- TOC II.
While this position is located on the campus of SUNY Oswego, this is not a New York State position. Description of Responsibilities:
The project assistant will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
Maintain and keep all documents organized for the grant (both paper and electronic files)
Related to the project, write, distribute, and file emails, memos, letters, forms, and other communications,
Route questions and information to the director and others as needed,
Communicate with TOC II partners and participants as necessary to ensure required paperwork is current and accurate,
Schedule appointments and meetings, and maintain minutes,
Support communication system across all partners, including regular updates,
Create and maintain budget records (invoices and purchase requisitions) and
Assist with reports as necessary,
Order and inventory supplies and materials as required for office work, scholar support, etc.,
Assist with the data collection and the completion of any required evaluation reports,
Maintain and update a project policy and procedures manual,
Assist with travel arrangements and expense reports.

Required Qualifications:
One year of satisfactory secretarial experience; OR
Satisfactory completion of a one-year course in Secretarial Science from a business school registered with the NYS Education Department, a New York State Community College, or a technical institute recognized by the New York State Education Department as following acceptable practices; OR
A satisfactory combination of 1 and 2 above
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Experience working with grants
Experience with diverse populations of individuals
