SUMMARY: Purposefully help drive the sales team to the next level by professionalizing and enhancing our partnership with growers. Sales Leads ae responsible for leading and coaching the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive margin growth. Sales Leads will develop and implement sales strategies, coach, and mentor salespeople, collaborate with Regional Directors, assist in building relationships with key accounts and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Help Salespeople develop their skills, achieve their sales growth goals, and provide a more powerful grower experience
Work alongside Regional Directors to cultivate seller capacities and to design sales strategies in each region
Design a robust sales on-boarding and training strategy for all levels of sales personnel
Act as the primary recruiter for new sales personnel
Measure the progress of seller development & performance and move seller up levels through coaching.
Monitor market trends and analyze sales data to make informed decisions
Align resources for sales development and customer satisfaction
Participate in sales calls with sellers, provide helpful advice and feedback on the development of the sales plan and the execution of the sales call
Mentor and coach Regional Directors on how to prepare, challenge, reward and evaluate salespeople.
Maintain strong line of communication with Regional Directors regarding sales training activities.
Develop a team mentality across sellers, regions, and divisions
Drive sales accountability and performance aligned with sales budget & plan
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, communication, and sales training that elevates the sales team's impact on Keystone customers and internal team members
Monthly alignment meeting with VP of Sales & VP of Agronomy
Participates in weekly Sales Leadership & Agronomy Leadership Calls
Submits feedback to leadership on progress of each seller
Includes RD & Location Manager in joint meetings as often as possible
Identifies and helps address any communication/performance gaps between sales & ops
Collaborates with Marketing Team on customer communication opportunities
Works with digital team to create an appropriate Sales Enablement Tool
Engage the Sales Enablement Specialists
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience as a sales manager or high volume/margin sales performance
Willingness to learn about crop production business including basic agronomics
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent negotiation and sales skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well within strict time frames, despite numerous interruptions
Strong analysis skills and ability to accurately calculate information
Ability to work without supervision and make appropriate decisions
Bachelor's degree in agricultural related field preferred; or a combination of education and/or experience.
