Job Summary: The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services to clients. This role involves managing and supporting care workers, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Support:
Provide guidance and support to care workers in the field.
Conduct regular supervision and performance reviews.
Address any issues or concerns raised by care workers or clients.
Client Management:
Conduct initial assessments and develop care plans for new clients.
Regularly review and update care plans to ensure they meet clients' needs.
Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction with services.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all care services comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct spot checks and audits to maintain high standards of care.
Implement corrective actions as needed to address any deficiencies.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for care workers.
Support the professional development of care workers through mentoring and coaching.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of care services, client interactions, and staff performance.
Prepare reports for management on service delivery and staff performance.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating care worker assignments.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the healthcare or social care sector.
Strong understanding of care standards and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and motivate a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
