Job Description:

The Director of Kynd Kit Operations is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Kynd Kit product management, production, kitting, and distribution. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for making a positive impact. The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:People Management:Manage the Shipping and Receiving Manager, Production Manager, and Inventory Manager to ensure efficient operationsConduct annual performance reviews for direct reports, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for professional developmentOversee the hiring process for new team members, including creating job descriptions, assisting in interviewing candidates and making final hiring decisionsDevelop and implement training programs for new hires and existing staff to enhance skills and maintain high performance standards and to continue fostering a positive and productive work environmentRegularly assess team structure and make recommendations for organizational improvements to optimize efficiency and effectivenessOversee the Kynd Schools program, including implementation and expansion. Along with managing the assistant for Kynd Schools by providing guidance and support for program executionExecuting team bonding activities once a monthInnovation:Develop and implement new Kynd Kit concepts, working closely with the team to bring innovative ideas to fruitionEstablish and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations for Kynd Kit donationsCollaborate with marketing and outreach teams to promote Kynd Kit initiatives and expand program reachWarehouse management:Optimize production processes and supply chain management to ensure timely and cost-effective kit assembly and distributionAnalyze program data and prepare reports on Kynd Kit impact and operational efficiencyReview corporate program timelines and requirements, ensuring timely execution and appropriate customizationOversee warehouse maintenance, including coordinating with building management for repairs and addressing facility issuesImplement and maintain safety protocols in the production areaQualifications:3+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a nonprofit or social enterprise settingStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent project management and organizational abilitiesPassion for social impact and community engagementExperience in product development and program implementation preferredThe ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong commitment to Project Helpings mission.Project Helping is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
