Basic Job Functions:

• Work with Environmental Team on Improving Management of Change Program (M.O.C.) -
• Work on the following Environmental Plans/Permits o Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC)
  • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
  • Ozone Depleting Substance Inventory
  • ISO 14001 Management Program
  • RCRA Waste Determination Documentations
• Perform Sampling and Inspections for Environmental Program Requirements
• Operate Water Truck and Sweeper (if necessary)
• Help compliance with Universal Waste Management

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.




Preferred Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a University / College with a Major in an environmental/Biology or related field
