BASIC FUNCTIONS:


The Electrical Lead reports to the Electrical Supervisor. These positions will lead teams of E&I Technicians while working within multiple groups and disciplines to continually improve plant safety and reliability in the production of Direct Reduced Iron (DRI).



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing and promoting safe work practices for maintaining plant equipment.
• Execution of projects and developing technical abilities.
• Promoting team culture within and across multiple work groups.
• Applying technical knowledge to solving problems with plant equipment.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on work experience in the maintenance of electrical equipment.

PREFERENCES:

• Leadership experience in an industrial maintenance role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical control systems and associated equipment as well as

electrical power distribution and protection equipment.

• Experience in project management and execution.
