The Electrical Lead reports to the Electrical Supervisor. These positions will lead teams of E&I Technicians while working within multiple groups and disciplines to continually improve plant safety and reliability in the production of Direct Reduced Iron (DRI).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing and promoting safe work practices for maintaining plant equipment.
Execution of projects and developing technical abilities.
Promoting team culture within and across multiple work groups.
Applying technical knowledge to solving problems with plant equipment.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on work experience in the maintenance of electrical equipment.
PREFERENCES:
Leadership experience in an industrial maintenance role.
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical control systems and associated equipment as well as
electrical power distribution and protection equipment.
Experience in project management and execution.
