This postdoctoral researcher position will work with Dr. Ajay Shah and Judit Puskas and support a newly funded research project (TARDISS) to evaluate natural rubber crop production. The Postdoctoral Scholar will conduct research on crop production within a lab, greenhouse, and field-scales, and engage in processing research with a major focus on alternative natural rubber crop production in a hydroponic setting. The Postdoctoral Scholar will be involved in data collection, analysis and modeling and simulation research tasks. It is expected that the Post Doctoral Scholar will develop and test experimental designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods and make recommendations for their utilization; as well as participate and take a leadership role in the development of the goals of new research projects and in the planning of laboratory work. The Post Doctoral Scholar will assist in generating progress reports, final reports, writing papers for journal submission, participating in conferences and helping with student mentoring.
Required years of experience:
At least three years of experience on lab-, field- and greenhouse-scale experiments.
Additional Information:Minimum Education- PhD in relevant field.
