IMMEDIATE OPENINGS (2024 School Year) The Northern Region Educational Services Commission (NRESC) in Passaic County has the following openings available: Speech Therapist Shared Services Full Time in Paterson Public Schools Occupational Therapist Shared Services Part Time Pompton Lakes Daycare Center Child Care Teacher (Full Time with Medical Benefits) 10-month position Hours: 7:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m. Bachelor's Degree or a Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education (P-3 preferred) Criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status is required. The Supervisor of Child Care will annually evaluate the performance of this job, in accordance with New Jersey State law and provisions of the board-approved policy on evaluations. Salary commensurate with experience. If the teacher is hired with a teaching certificate, the Board of Directors determines salary according to the collective bargaining agreement. Teacher Assistant (Full Time with Medical Benefits) 10-month position Potential Summer work hours Hours 7:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m. High School diploma or substitute teacher credential is required. An associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field or one (1) year of appropriate experience in the educational field is preferred. Criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status is required. The performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the NRESC's policy on non-certificated staff. Salary to be determined based on experience.
