GHD is seeking a Graduate Engineer to work with our Food and Agriculture Group and Environmental Emergency Response (GHD FIRST) groups as an environmental professional based out of our Green Bay, Wisconsin office.

This position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Inspections of large agricultural facilities and food manufacturing facilities to assist with state and federal permitting, evaluations and planning of expansion/modification designs. Inspections would include assessments of existing facilities, review of existing site-specific construction documentation, measurement and documentation of existing facilities, construction oversight and documentation, etc.
Completion of site soils investigations including the supervision of drill rigs and excavators
Groundwater monitoring well installation, development and sampling
Contractor oversight and management during the construction of the facilities with the responsibilities of tracking budgets, schedule, project scope, and health/safety
Environmental and construction data management, compilation, and analysis
Travel to project sites across Wisconsin - Up to 20% overnight travel
Perform a wide variety of field duties for both routine/scheduled and emergency environmental projects to include: inspection, maintenance, monitoring, construction oversight, air monitoring, operating UAVs, and operations and maintenance of remediation systems
Prepare technical correspondence, project proposals, technical reports, work plans, and project specifications including cost estimates and budgets - Data compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation/comparison to environmental regulatory standards

What you will bring to the team:
Bachelor's degree in Applied Science (Engineering)
0-3 years' experience
Desire to become a PE
Detail oriented with the ability to balance a diverse and changing workload
Critical thinking and problem solving - ability to identify multiple solutions to a problem
Willingness to potentially respond to call outs during non-routine working hours
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and aptitude
Positive attitude, very strong interpersonal skills
Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents
Establishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with superiors, co-workers and clients - effective collaborators are welcome
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet project timelines
Self-motivated and willingness to work in a team in a fast-paced environment
Valid drivers license
Ability to perform physically demanding work (lift minimum of 50 pounds)
OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus
