Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant proficient in QuickBooks Online and Desktop. Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients.
Perform reconciliations, including bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheets.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
Handle accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing as needed.
Support tax preparation and compliance.
Collaborate with clients to ensure their financial needs are met with precision and timeliness.
Utilize QuickBooks Online and Desktop for all accounting functions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
Experience working in a paperless environment preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with multiple clients.
Prior experience working with startups or in the life sciences industry is a plus.
Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Pay: $33 - $37 per hr.
