We're a family-style, service-oriented small brick-and-mortar jewelry business looking for another full time salesperson or two part-time sales people to join the team. Studio Jewelers is open Monday through Saturday from 10 to 5, and a workday starts at 9 AM and ends at 6 pm with a one-hour break during the day. We're located on Regent Street near Camp Randall stadium, and employee parking is provided. Duties include setting up the store in the morning, helping customers throughout the day, and putting the jewelry in the safe after closing. The positions also include some data entry and social media posting, as well as shared household tasks. There are two cats at the store, and petting and playing with them is also part of the job description.
This is an ideal job for someone with an interest in gems and one-of-a-kind jewelry. You'll learn about the artists whose work we represent, the techniques they use in their work, and the gems and precious stones they work with. We'll teach you what you need to know to advise clients with integrity and confidence.
