Position Overview:

As a Donor Relations Associate, you'll play a key role in fostering relationships with major donors and foundations, supporting fundraising campaigns, and overseeing donor-focused events. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about nonprofit development, with a knack for organization and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Major Donor Support & Stewardship:
  • Coordinate communication and events for major donors, ensuring meaningful engagement and recognition.
  • Proposal & Report Development:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft compelling donor proposals and impact reports.

  • Community Giving & Campaigns:

Manage workplace giving initiatives, community partnerships, and annual fundraising events such as Giving Tuesday.

  • Event Coordination:

Assist in planning and executing donor events, both virtual and in-person, ensuring smooth logistics and exceptional experiences.

  • Travel Coordination:

Facilitate high-level travel arrangements for donor visits, liaising with Central American staff and managing logistics.

  • Administrative Support:

Organize files, maintain donor records, and assist with budget management to streamline fundraising activities.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to adapt to new software quickly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Customer-focused mindset with experience in donor relations or event management preferred.
  • A passion for Agros' mission and alignment with its faith-based values.
