RN's will be responsible for providing care for patients in the Divisional Critical Care Resource Pool. They will be cross-trained over time to cover several different critical care areas including Medical ICU, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Cardiac Surgical ICU and Cardiac ICU. Assignments on each unit may extend across several weeks or months, allowing each nurse to develop a diverse set of skills.

General summary/ overview statement
The RN is responsible for assuring competent, compassionate, individualized, nursing care for specific patients and families, including delegation to and supervision of non-professional clinical and support staff. The staff nurse is responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of a designated group of patients. They collaborate with the Nursing Director and members of the Patient Care Team to achieve optimal Patient outcomes. They also collaborate with the patient toward meeting the needs and expectations of the patient and family. Staff nurses ensure that care is safe, efficient, effective, timely and meets the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of each patient and family.
Qualifications
BSN is required. Current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse is required. 2 years ICU experience.
Full-time position 36 hour per week position 50/50 split between days and nights along with weekend and holiday requirements.
