Location: UHealth Tower
Maintains work areas and equipment rooms in a clean and safe condition at all times. Receives and responds to requests for repair work. Keeps daily logs of work, performed and pending, updated. Cleans, maintains, and paints equipment and machinery to prevent deterioration. Repairs plumbing and leaky equipment on roofs and ceilings. Advises appropriate managing staff of risk factors and repair needs beyond the mechanic's ability. Prepares and maintains accurate records of equipment and facility preventative maintenance. Tests and evaluates equipment performance using appropriate tools. Inspects air conditioning and heating systems, and performs general maintenance of work systems. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
