Position Summary:
Demand Planning Manager oversees the daily operations of the demand planning for Supply Change team members as they analyze customer and vendor demand to develop and fine tube forecasts. The Demand Planner is highly analytical with in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematical and forecasting policies. In addition, strong communication and stakeholder engagement are critical to success, which includes the ability to effectively partner and collaborate with those leading and working on the commercial side of the business; i.e. sales. Demand Planning Managers, may lead multi-disciplinary planning change projects, managing a number of people. Demand Planning Managers works independently and provides consultative advice within specific functional areas, introduces plannings methods/procedures that are new for the organization. Applies advanced plannings process principles to multiple tasks. Proficient in area of specialization and contributes in other disciplines. Determines feasibility of planning concepts or projects. Has basic knowledge of related disciplines.
What You Will Do:
Analyzing Data: Review Sales and purchase history, marketing strategies, and other factors to understand demand.
Developing effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns: Create statistical models to predict future demand.
Proposing and implementing solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
Successfully communicating forecast and inventory estimations to management.
Monitoring and reporting on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
Conducting monthly forecast maintenance.
Addressing demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Managing plans: Oversee the daily execution of approved plans and manage abnormal demand.
Collaborating: Work with sales, and customer finance to ensure accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
Consolidate Nafta demand planning both from process and content standpoint (Q & P).
Support & align Nafta forecasting processes, ensuring process is well respected.
Organize individual demand review calls with Nafta Sales team/Customers and Controller.
Understand demand planning changes and supply constraints, prepare and present the demand planning slides to leadership team.
NAFTA owner for IBP planning tool, ensuring best and most accurate use of tool monthly.
Drive alignment between IBP forecast & business targets e.g. AOP, quarterly FC, monthly FC.
Play coordinating role in allocation process together with Sales and Supply chain team.
Improve forecast accuracy, bias and planning processes.
Own Nafta forecast accuracy reporting, target setting and monthly reporting out.
Pay Range Data:
We expect to pay within the range of $89,500 - $110,000 per year for this role. This range represents base salary and does not reflect benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries reflect several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, education/certifications and specific work location.
What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):
Experience in working in a global, complex organizations.
Strong presentation and organizational skills.
Strong knowledge in Excel.
Business working knowledge of English, both verbal and in writing.
Business process knowledge of Supply Chain at large.
Appreciation of applied business information systems (ERP/SAP).
Able to assess and manage changes in a complex local environment: setting priorities, assessing risks, proposing alternative solutions.

Automotive industry experience preferred.
