The Head of Service Provider Management will join the Global Development Operations (GDO) executive leadership team and report directly to the Head GDO. S/he will be
Defining the sourcing strategy for all clinical trial related activities for both drug development and lifecycle management clinical trial,
driving at an enterprise level the strategic partnerships for all of our company's global development and lifecycle management clinical trial work working directly with other organizational leaders to stay current on all initiatives for new developments, scope of work changes, or customer requirements that will affect the experience of the customer and profitability of the account relationship.
leading the Alliance Management to improve gross margin by leveraging quality service providers across clients and employ methods to lower overall customer costs.
maintaining and further optimizing strategic partnership models, driving partners' overall performance as well as leading executive level governance meetings and participating in R&D level governance ensuring consistency in approach across programs with Strategic Partners
Who you are:
The ideal candidate must have
At least fifteen (15) years of experience in drug development in pharmaceutical industry or CRO, thereof at least ten (10) years in Clinical Operations and five (5) years in Alliance Management
Professional experience in CRO - Sponsor Relationship in a leading role in an international strategic partnership
Demonstrated expertise in KPI management, contract negotiations, financial models
Demonstrated experience in Alliance Management
Excellent relationship building and influencing skills
Superior oral and written communication skills, excellent conceptual and analytical skills and a high degree of self-motivation
Ability to effectively establish priorities and develop objectives, goals and action plans to meet or exceed customer expectations within a fast-paced matrixed and global environment
Strong customer focus (internal and external)
Fluency in English (oral and written)
Position requires both domestic and international travel up to 40% of time
