This role is essential in ensuring efficient logistics, proactively managing shipping schedules, and resolving production challenges to maintain smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the shipping schedule and manage the backlog to ensure timely product completion.
Identify and mitigate obstacles to secure on-time delivery.
Track production workflow, communicating any shipment delays or issues.
Collaborate across teams to devise solutions for shipping and production challenges.
Prepare shipping manifests and packing slips daily.
Maintain clear communication with clients regarding upcoming shipments.
Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely scheduling of shipments.
Engage the team to promote effective processes and quality standards.
Apply analytical techniques to support continuous improvement.
Lead by example, upholding and enforcing safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years in cabinet or furniture production preferred
