We seek a seasoned Senior Project Manager with extensive expertise in HVAC systems for hospitals and OSHPD (Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development) compliance. Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of HVAC construction projects in hospital environments, ensuring compliance with OSHPD standards and healthcare facility codes.
Ensure all installations meet stringent safety requirements and pass OSHPD inspections efficiently.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver on-time, cost-effective results while maintaining quality standards.
Lead design reviews, collaborate with engineering teams, and oversee the installation of HVAC systems using tools like Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
Build strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and healthcare representatives to facilitate clear communication and seamless project execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Minimum of 5 years in commercial mechanical construction, focusing on healthcare projects and OSHPD-regulated environments.
Advanced knowledge of tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and MS Project. Familiarity with building automation systems like Johnson Controls Metasys, Tridium Niagara, or Schneider Electric is a plus.
In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and hospital-grade plumbing and piping systems.
Demonstrates a stable and local work history in San Jose or nearby regions.
