Contractor will report through the Design Engineering organization assisting with the management of Steam Generator logistics from initiation to closeout phases.
Will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience in project management, relevant technologies, and leadership in the assigned project areas.
Should have strong team building skills, demonstrated skill and ability in effectively leading teams to achieve project goals and milestones.
Ability to develop, manage and monitor project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules.
Ability to coordinate the resolution of technical problems and implement changes.
Contractor will be expected to obtain unescorted access to the facility and will need to be able to comply with and complete all nuclear badging requirements
Candidates must be able to qualify for work in the field including confined space, climbing stairs and ladders, wearing a respirator, etc.
Candidate must have Steam Generator Experience to support project logistics
Required Skills:
MUST have Demonstrated experience with managing Mechanical projects (specifically steam generator fabrication) at site from initiation phase (funding requests, starting projects), through Design, Execution (Field Implementation) and Closeout phases as the logistics PM.
Demonstrated experience with managing Mechanical projects at site from initiation phase (funding requests, starting projects), through Design, Execution (Field Implementation) and Closeout phases.
Demonstrated experience with Mechanical disciplines focused projects.
Experienced in following Nuclear Station Processes and Project Management best practices to manage Projects.
Demonstrated experience with using P6 Online and Outage processes to schedule projects.
Ensure capital projects are executed with Safety and Environmental Compliance as the primary focus of all personnel supporting his/her projects.
Manage or assist in all phases of smaller improvement projects including permitting, contract negotiations, engineering contracts, construction contracts, construction activities and commissioning.
Develops and manages overall project budget and schedule for major and smaller projects.
Manage the approved project financial spend plan and cost forecast, making decisions to meet project financial goals.
Manage contracts / commercial aspects of the project with suppliers and contractors.
Manage all project related administrative requirements as per PM process.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities
Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.
Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
Experience with using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
Nice to Have Skills:
PMP certification is a plus
Preferred Years of Experience:
Minimum 6+ years of Project Management experience in the Nuclear field
