We are looking for a talented and passionate US Operations & Employee Experience Manager to join our New York team. You are a highly motivated, goals-driven person who enjoys working with people. You are open-minded and collaborative. You can make things happen in a fast-paced startup environment.
As our US Operations & Employee Experience Manager, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of operational functions, including facility management for our New York, Miami and Scottsdale offices, New York corporate apartments, expansion initiatives and employee experience. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations and supporting our company's growth.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day office operations for all 3 offices, including ordering food, supplies, and equipment to meet employee needs and ensuring facilities are organized, clean, safe, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
Lead the operational logistics for opening new offices across the country, including lease acquisition, permits, insurance and vendor coordination.
Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring service quality.
Oversee the invoicing & billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payment with the finance department.
Collaborate with the People team in Planning and executing employee well-being and learning initiatives and events.
Coordinate the leasing, furnishing, and maintenance of corporate apartments, managing relationships with management companies and landlords.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees utilizing corporate housing, addressing their needs promptly.
Regularly evaluate vendor performance and make changes as necessary.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and ensuring timely delivery to relevant team members or departments.
Onsite 5 days/week.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in operations, office management, or a similar role - a must (in a start-up environment - an advantage).
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience managing corporate accommodations or office facilities.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate large-scale projects.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and can-do approach to collaboration.

Darrow provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. This role's range of pay (base salary) is $85,000 - $110,000.
