Job Description:

Position Summary: The Purchasing Coordinator supports procurement activities by entering and maintaining accurate purchasing records, tracking orders, and assisting with day-to-day vendor communications. This role focuses on data entry, ensuring timely and efficient processing of purchase orders and related documents.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter purchase orders into the system based on provided data and inventory needs.
  • Send purchase orders to vendors and confirm receipt through follow-up emails or phone calls.
  • Track and update order status, including delivery dates and any changes from vendors.
  • Assist with data entry for inventory updates and adjustments.
  • Resolve basic data discrepancies in purchase orders, pricing, or invoices through communication with vendors and internal teams.
  • Update vendor records and product information in the system as directed.
  • Input and maintain purchase order receipts in the warehouse system.
  • Perform routine data checks to ensure all purchase and inventory records are up to date.
  • Assist Purchasing Manager in compiling usage and consumption reports for across all product lines.
  • Perform data analysis to support purchasing decisions.
  • Receiving of product into ERP system.
  • Assist with PO entry and tracking of office and warehouse supplies.
  • Track and maintain accurate stocking levels of raw material for production.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative support.
  • 1 year purchasing or procurement experience preferably in manufacturing or automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Query.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Work Environment:
  • Office setting with standard safety precautions. Light lifting (up to 70 lbs) may be required occasionally.
