KP Aviation, a global leader in aftermarket aviation components and assets, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Line Director to join our team. This pivotal leadership role involves managing a team of Product Line Representatives while driving all aspects of asset evaluation, acquisition, and repair within KPA's material procurement initiatives.
As the Product Line Director, you will take ownership of constructing detailed financial models (Proforma) to guide strategic purchase decisions, revenue forecasting, and gross profit projections. Your expertise will be essential in managing inventory turnover, setting target pricing, and producing market-specific reports to support decision-making. The role also encompasses overseeing procurement strategies to align stocked materials with KPA's financial goals and objectives.
Hybrid or remote work options may be available. This role will require periodic travel for conferences, customer meetings, and asset acquisition efforts.
Your role will take you to new heights, as you will be tasked with these essential job responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive market analysis, develop pricing strategies, and provide technical insights to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Direct the valuation, acquisition, and management of aircraft, surplus packages, and demand materials.
Oversee asset evaluation, disassembly processes, and repair station coordination to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.
Maintain accurate pricing structures and material certifications to support the sales team.
Develop and manage a team of Strategic Buyers and Product Line Representatives to meet strategic goals.
Build and sustain an asset pipeline to achieve financial growth, sales projections, and inventory turnover targets.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
Drive profitability by implementing effective inventory management strategies and redeploying aged inventory.
Negotiate acquisition terms that align with the company's ROI/IRR targets.
Monitor and report on market trends, customer demand, and asset valuation, including depreciation and residual values.
Represent KPA at conferences and during customer-facing travel to secure new projects and contract opportunities.
Partner with sales and operations teams to address customer needs, marketing lease assets, and supporting technical asset requirements.
Extensive knowledge of the commercial aircraft parts aftermarket, including availability, demand, and valuation trends.
Proven ability to develop financial models and market analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Experience managing asset acquisition, disassembly, and repair processes within aviation or a related field.
Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to foster a high-performing, results-driven environment.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Adept at identifying opportunities to optimize inventory and improve gross profit margins.
