We're seeking a future team member for the role of Regulatory Data Governance Lead to join our WM Data Governance Team. This role is located in New York.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Responsible to work with data consumers across the organization supporting the development of new reporting processes and changes required or improvements to existing reporting processes.
Works closely with Enterprise Data Management in understanding the tools utilized, business and rule requirements.
Develops functional specifications to define the data and derivational requirements to the IT development group supporting regulatory reporting efforts.
Works with the internal business partner to properly test, train and implement new or improved processes, often leading these efforts.
Responsible to perform data analysis for different regulatory reporting requirements.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required. • 5-10 years of total work experience in business analysis, data analysis preferred. • Experience in external reporting and/or internal audit preferred. • Strong written and verbal communication skills required. • Preferred experience: Supported multiple enterprise systems implementations in a Business Analyst role. • SQL knowledge for data analysis will be a preferred. • Financial Regulatory Reporting experience is preferred. • Reg reporting data governance management including CDE managements, data quality contracts. • Knowledge data governance tools like Collibra, IDQ, ASG, Solidatus, etc. • SQL understanding or knowledge to facilitate data analysis. • Business/Functional Analyst with financial services background. • Financial Product and data analysis experience. • North America Regulatory Reporting experience. • SQL understanding or knowledge to facilitate data analysis. • Understanding to User Acceptance testing and building of testing strategy/test plans. • Axiom knowledge or implementation experience would be added advantage (nice to have).
