ESG Flo is in search of a passionate Sustainability Product Analyst with 2+ years of experience in Scope 3 Calculation. In this role, you will initially collaborate with our Customer Success team to spearhead our Scope 3 consulting services, guiding clients through comprehensive assessments. Additionally, you will lead double materiality assessments for CSRD. In the first year, you will transition to leading the development and enhancement of our Scope 3 software product, working closely with the Design and Engineering teams to build new features and optimize UIUX. Your role will progress to own new product lines as ESG Flo continues growing its software capabilities.

ESG Flo is an AI-enabled Data management and reporting solution designed to automate the ESG data gathering process and provide real-time insights into ESG factors. This software makes ESG reporting and decision making seamless by optimizing extraction, validation, and transformation of relevant data. It is built from the ground up with auditability in mind.

What will I be doing?
You will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients on their sustainability journeys and creating best-in-class sustainability software.
To be more specific, you will:
1. Lead Scope 3 engagements • Assist clients in accurately identifying relevant Scope 3 data points. • Determine material categories and calculate the Scope 3 footprint, delivering a detailed Excel workbook with clearly documented assumptions and traceable calculations. • Present the final Scope 3 results, including methodology, assumptions, key insights, and recommendations for future improvements. • Collaborate with clients to establish data collection processes that will enhance the accuracy of future Scope 3 assessments. • Develop comprehensive methodology documentation for internal and external audit purposes. • Integrate the Scope 3 results into the ESG Flo software platform.
2. Conduct Double Materiality Assessments • Lead clients through the Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) process, including identifying key sustainability matters, engaging stakeholders, developing and distributing surveys, conducting interviews and workshops, and synthesizing findings. • Deliver a comprehensive DMA matrix and documentation outlining prioritized Impact, Risks, and Opportunities (IROs). • Prepare detailed methodology documentation for internal and external audit use. • Input the DMA results into the ESG Flo software platform for streamlined access and reporting.
3. Product manage the ESG Flo platform • Prioritize new Scope 3 features based on business needs and user interviews. • Incorporate DMA into the platform. • Detail the feature requirements and acceptance criteria. • Collaborate with Design and Engineering team to develop the new features. • Lead testing efforts and ensure smooth client onboarding for newly developed features.

Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in Scope 3 emissions calculations. • You are familiar with setting Science Based Targets, conducting double materiality assessment, and CSRD. • You have had client facing roles • Bonus points for familiarity with the software startup ecosystem
