SUMMARY OF ROLE: The Industrial Engineer coordinates and assists in the site's Lean and Continuous Improvement activities. This role champions change as a resource for Lean improvement techniques and provides leadership and guidance for site continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen and Blackbelt.
Responsibilities:
Implement and promote Lean and Kaizen methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead and participate in Kaizen events, Black Belt projects, and other improvement initiatives.
Work cross-functionally with different departments to achieve goals and drive performance improvements.
Analyze data from various databases to identify and recommend areas for improvement.
Manage and coordinate action items to sustain improvements made during Kaizen events.
Lead and facilitate root cause analysis activities to identify solutions and prevent recurrence of issues.
Develop and present reports to track progress and measure the success of continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
College degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a relevant field (Lean Certification or similar preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
