- Trouble-shooting & system tuning to ensure all equipment and systems are functioning as called for in the engineer’s project design documents
- Record activities related to Start-Up’s and any other assigned service activities on DDL and customer supplied electronic devices and platforms
- Demonstrate the ability to diagnose, repair, and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
- Set up and program VFD's
- Provide valid options for additional work and service based on established protocols
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by continuously providing high quality service
- Perform work according to set standards
- Prioritize following safety procedures and maintain a constant awareness of personal safety and the safety of others
- Prompt and regular attendance is required for all scheduled days
- Successful candidates must have completed a minimum 4 to 5 year apprenticeship training program/or equivalent
- Candidates must also have working knowledge of, and practical experience with, the HVAC/R & heating hot water systems, final Test & Balance process, and final system commissioning processes.
- Job experience specializing in commercial/institutional HVAC/R service and heating hot water systems service, or have received a technical degree in HVAC/R from an accredited school/university,
- Minimum of 2-years field experience starting up commercial/institutional grade HVAC/R & heating hot water systems, including trouble-shooting & system tuning
- Practical working knowledge of DDC controls and setting up & programming VFD’s is required
- Must live in Guam, or be willing to relocate to Guam.
