Engineering Manager

Summary of the role
We are seeking a strong Mechanical Engineering Manager for the Large Projects division of the North American Hydropower segment. This person will be leading a team of 10-15 engineers specializing in the design and mechanical engineering of large rotating equipment, specifically turbines and generators.
This team handles large multi-year projects, and this role will be responsible for handling priorities, forecasting, capacity, and planning. These projects are Custom Working Prototypes with an emphasis to "Get It Right the First Time."
We need a true leader, someone who can rally the team in a time of growth and change. Someone who has the technical ability to judge and critique as necessary. A leader who can manage HR functions of the team members while working to implement the processes and changes that get the organization to the level necessary to manage the RAPID GROWTH this organization is facing.
