Responsibilities
Collaborate with leaders to forecast resource needs and track employee job status to meet district and project goals. Support talent sourcing programs for interns and students.
Assist talent acquisition with candidate screening and interview coordination.
Coordinate onboarding, asset distribution, and activities for new hires and internal transfers.
Investigate employee relations issues following company processes, with legal guidance.
Conduct exit interviews for separated employees.
Collaborate with legal counsel on immigration compliance.
Develop and implement HR training programs on HR processes, project needs, and legal requirements.
Schedule and facilitate HR training, including compliance, performance reviews, and company programs. Lead or support HR initiatives from development to implementation.
Track and document employee relations issues to identify trends and training needs. Implement solutions with supervisor guidance.
Process employee information changes (new hires, transfers, terminations, etc.) through company systems.
Maintain knowledge of company values, strategic plans, and policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
4+ years of related experience, including in the construction industry.
Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification required.
Valid Driver's License.
Proven leadership, project management, and relationship-building skills.
Strong time-management and ability to handle sensitive situations.
Advanced knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
Critical-thinking and analytical skills.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
