Job Description:

Responsibilities


  • Lead the development of the marketing plan (including content strategy: audiences, messaging, media) and setting marketing budget to meet the business' requirements

  • Monitor and report on achievement of marketing objectives and progress against budget

  • Plan and manage execution (including some direct execution where appropriate) of such activities as the marketing plan requires (year 1 will include website refresh)

  • Work with the Sales team to ensure that contacts are captured and categorized in Salesforce so that they are usable for targeted messaging

  • Manage Lead generation: define, develop and manage all lead generation activities including email and online advertising (PPC)

  • Maintain Website including content: Blog, Thoughtpieces, Solutions, Datasheets, Case studies, Clients list, Partners list, Press releases

  • Maintain Social Media presence (LinkedIn)

  • Maintain Sales collateral

  • Maintain Marketing collateral including: Tradeshow/booth materials, Brochures, Promotional items

  • Maintain Customer Support collateral (e.g. SOPs, how-to videos)

  • Support internal communications

  • Support Mueller Marketing in appropriate representation of Metering at the major Trade shows. Support planning, scheduling and implementing all tradeshows, distributor training, customer events, user groups, conferences and exhibitions, maximising lead generation at key events, including onsite set-up, coordination and management of our presence - travel may be required



  • Liaise with Mueller Marketing and Legal to ensure that brand and other guidelines are followed in all respects, and to provide input as to the needs of the Metering business



Competencies


  • Degree qualified and/or have relevant professional qualifications (IDM, CIM, CIPR)

  • Number of years in marketing positions

  • Experience of hardware/SaaS software solution B2B preferred

  • Marketing mix experience (dtm, digital, web, conference, tradeshow, publications, PR, copywriting)

  • Use of marketing tools: Salesforce, Pardot

  • Professional attitude & presentability: serious/responsible, tolerance for setbacks, initiative, commercial outlook, appearance, verbal communication

  • Professional efficiency: problem solving, planning and organising, teamwork, stress management, prioritise and balance out competing demands, communication and coordination, ownership to completion

  • Self-management, taking the initiative, innovation

  • Marketing planning: set and manage to a budget, industry knowledge incl b2b, audience understanding and aligning messaging, competitor analysis, understand company strategy, target customer identification, activity selection, client focus

  • Marketing execution: project management, administration, copywriting general and technical, graphic design
