The Sourcing Analyst role is a key player to support the strategies and goals of the Sourcing organization and contribute to building best practices and programs to build a best-in-class organization. The position is responsible for assessment of business needs, analytics to support sourcing events and initiatives, contract management, and project coordination. The Analyst works with the Sourcing Team to support continuous improvement, operational excellence and value maximization to the organization. As a Sourcing Analyst, you will support all aspects of Sourcing and internal operations activities, including planning, assessments, documentation, and execution. The Analyst also works with other internal functions such as Legal, Risk Mgmt., Communications & Finance to ensure the proper documentation & process is applied.
The successful candidate works cross-functionally with various departments, is influencing through data and is action-oriented. They think creatively and embrace the diverse roles and responsibilities offered to them within a fast-paced and quickly changing environment. The candidate is curious and continuously strives to find the root cause and pushes for alternative solutions in overcoming challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare reports and presentations as needed
Use solid analytical knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analysis with minimal guidance, draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results and drive maximum value.
Educate functional partners on financial and non-financial data points and the implications of their decisions as these communications will drive sourcing related decisions.
Support multiple sourcing activities to drive value for the organization (contracting, RFx analytic support, and supplier performance)
Lead and/or coordinate projects to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
Ability to create and follow the defined Standard Work processes
Ensure data integrity
Provide project management and support for supply chain initiatives and goals
Strong time management and organizing skills
Identify roadblocks in material/information flow; ability to manage exceptions
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelors' Degree, Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance or Supply Chain
3+ years of relevant experience
Ability to facilitate creation of specifications and scope of work
Advanced computer and analytical skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experienced with Amazon QuickSight and/or Power BI
Ability to streamline and quickly turnaround high-pressure and fluctuating workload
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to follow and create standard work processes
