What You'll Do:
The Senior Marketing Manager, Immuno-Oncology, will be responsible for brand development and marketing execution of the IO commercial strategy including building new capabilities as needed. As an indication personal promo lead, this role will work collaboratively with cross functional partners to implement robust market shaping activities to drive commercial success across our IO franchise. This role will require leading and collaborating with both internal and external customers to ensure consistency across key HCP promotions.
This position will report into the head of Marketing and is primarily based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus, headquarters for the Oncology Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead implementation of HCP personal, nonpersonal, and peer-to-peer marketing strategies in the US market, to set our brand apart in a competitive environment
Support the creation of both branded and unbranded HCP campaign strategies to support key education initiatives with a focus on opportunities that enable us to orchestrate our campaigns across channels and functions
Engage with field teams to capture local insights informing promotional messaging, tools, and resources
Manage partner agency relationships, workflow, and related project budgets to ensure effective resource allocation (e.g. POs, invoices, etc.)
Collaborate with peer indication leads across the US to improve strategic alignment and executional pull-through
Collaborate with legal, regulatory, medical, and compliance stakeholders to ensure development and execution of compliant marketing initiatives
Assist in the identification, evaluation, and adoption of new partnerships and technologies
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
3+ years' experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: managed markets, brand marketing, sales, market research/analytics, strategic planning
Experience with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) regulations, reviews and processes
Prior in-line HCP marketing experience
High emotional intelligence with a collaborative, inclusive approach that drives team success
Experience building and integrating new capabilities that are relevant for brand success
Preferred qualifications
MBA in relevant field
Oncology or specialty care experience
Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital, Peer to Peer)
Product launch experience
Customer facing experience
Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex constructs
Outstanding project management skills and experience managing multiple vendors, marketing partners, agency partners and budgets
Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities and projects
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues
Experience working closely with field sales organizations to implement sales or marketing programs with measurable business impact
Ability to lead without authority
High capability at working collaboratively, thinking strategically and operating effectively in a rapidly evolving and competitive market place
High ethical standards and personal integrity
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $142,004 .00 to 213,006.00 . Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity and eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program. Benefits offered include a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
