We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager for a 6-month hybrid contract based at a large organization's headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. Local candidates only. Personal or agency-provided equipment is required, with VDI provisioned by the company.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations and accounting results for the Corporate Accounting team, including Benefits, Treasury, capital transactions, and intercompany accounting. Manage 3 direct reports and review results from outsourced partners.
Lead benefit plan audit planning, staff oversight, and process optimization.
Partner with Global Accounting, Treasury, and Tax teams to support accounting and reporting for optimal capital structure.
Oversee certain statutory reporting processes.
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Accounting required.
CPA with Big 4 or national public accounting experience required.
7+ years of relevant experience (corporate accounting, audit, financial reporting, etc.) required.
1-2 years of people management experience.
Expertise in US GAAP, including codification research and documentation.
Results-oriented, proactive, and agile with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized and able to manage evolving priorities.
SAP experience is a plus.
