Job Responsibilities

Independently performs general maint. tasks and/or performs planning, managerial, & supervisory duties - as identified - regarding repairs, maint. and construction. Assists Campus Facilities Directors w/ repair, maintenance & construction activities. Performs and directs activities related to repair, maint., & construction activities involving one or more trades (i.e., carpentry, electricity, welding, heating, venting & air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, boiler operation & energy plant operations). Maintains records, prepares reports regarding work activities, makes recommendations on repair, replacement & maint. of buildings and equipment. Duties may range from simple to complex.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and trade experience directly related to the area of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer an associate degree and two (2) years directly related work experience; four (4) years directly related work experience. Prefer supervisory skills and Journeyman Mechanical license. Must have a strong background in HVAC, controls, electronics and electrical fields.
