Location/Division Specific Information
The Director, North America Regional Marketing for the Genetic Sciences Division (GSD) will lead a team of marketing professionals to create and execute strategies and campaigns the support GSD product lines, including instruments and reagents in alignment with commercial sales needs. This leader will define target segments, analyze competitive landscapes, and drive strategies to achieve marketing goals and objectives, including product launches, demand generation, and productpositioning. This role is part of the North American Commercial Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Leadership: Guide strategy and execution for the North American Regional Marketing Team, focusing on product launches, campaign execution, demand generation, and market development activities.
Product Launch Execution: Collaborate with product management across BU's to develop and implement launch plans for new products. Set targets, measure outcomes, and iterate as needed.
Product Marketing: Develop strategies for existing products, refine positioning, and address competitive threats.
Demand Generation: Find opportunities to drive demand and hold the team accountable for meeting targets. Understand and prioritize channels (Direct , Digital, Web) to deliver programs with desired impact.
Market Development: Segment markets and develop workflows to support strategic wins.
Customer Insights: Leverage customer feedback and voice of sales to inform roadmaps, application development, and marketing strategies.
Annual Commercial Meeting: Lead the team responsible for planning the annual commercial meeting, coordinating with partners to ensure successful execution.
Collaboration: Partner on GSD-wide initiatives to enhance awareness and demand in research, biotech/pharma, and clinical segments.
Operational Excellence: Ensure good insight to channel and program execution and optimize return on investment on campaigns and improve marketing processes.
Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering professional development and continuous learning. Build and foster a culture of strong talent development.

Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science or Business; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years in a Life Science company with a strong record of leading teams.
Proven success in marketing strategy, digital marketing, and market development.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
Experience in Regional marketing, including segmentation, competitive analysis, and digital channels.
Skilled in driving outcomes in a matrixed environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
