We seek a highly motivated and skilled Systems Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system administration principles and a proven ability to manage and maintain complex IT infrastructures. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


As a Systems Administrator III, you will collaborate with a team providing second and third-level support, field application, and hardware calls, ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficiency of operations of the IT infrastructure, and supporting the workforce. You will assist in managing and administering the various cloud technologies. While maintaining a working knowledge of all hardware and software applications in order to resolve problems and issues that arise. This position logs all pertinent information from each call into a call-tracking application database and records follow-through to resolution. Systems Administrator Responsibilities


  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems from threats.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
  • Manage network traffic and optimize network performance.
  • Implement and maintain network security policies.
  • Develop and implement scripts to automate routine tasks.
  • Utilize automation tools to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
  • Provide technical support to end-users on hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles for end-users.


Systems Administrator Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022).
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a plus.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure & AWS).
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Experience with Remote Monitoring Management tools.
  • Experience with Intune and other Azure services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Superior communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, including preliminary credit and background check
  • United States Citizenship
