SUMMARY:



This position is responsible for all receptionist duties as well as the flow and retention of information and communications, both written and verbal, within the Farms, Feed Mill, and with contacts outside of Tyson Foods. This position is also responsible for maintaining flock specifics in the M Tech system and running corresponding reports as well as assist with the grower pay process.


Front desk responsibilities include providing support for the Farms, Feed Mill, and Load and Haul departments with typing and phone coverage. This position will greet and assist internal and external customers/callers and refer them to appropriate personnel as necessary. This position sorts incoming mail and documents; prepares all UPS/FedEx pickups; ensures off-site team members receive necessary communications. This position keeps current on all mailing labels, purchases all office supplies, maintains office equipment, prepares monthly meeting calendars, and other duties as assigned. This position orders supplies and does inventory weekly of all 5S areas.



REQUIREMENTS:



Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.


Experience: 2 plus years of office experience preferred.


Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including generating simple spreadsheets; Excel, Microsoft Office; knowledge of Tyson Systems SAP preferred.


Communication Skills: Must possess excellent written and verbal communication. Bilingual is a plus.


Special Skills: Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills.
