General Description	The Video Editor – Technical Craft Specialist B provides part-time support to the Multimedia Services department in the editing video footage of desired length and format. This position performs a full range of technical work to include editing the College’s CCPTV programs and video productions for cablecast on CCPTV, archives and stores files, and serves as a member of the CCPTV production crew. The work schedule may involve some evening and weekend hours based upon the needs of the College. Total hours not to exceed 25 hours per week.

Specific Responsibilities	Edit video productions for cablecast on CCPTV and for other College uses; including assembling video and audio clips, creating and inserting title graphics, inserting other graphical elements, inserting music, equalizing audio and video for output and creating compressions for cablecast, and online platforms. Serve on the CCPTV production crew, as camera operator for events and film shoots. . Operate video camera and teleprompter, and set up lighting in CCPTV studio and in the field. for production shoots and events. Maintain daily broadcast schedule. Maintain archive of videos, descriptions of the programs, running time, talent, crew, show dates, etc. in accordance with file naming protocols and locations. Work alongside Producer, create broadcast-ready videos for CCPTV, and online platforms, and assist with livestreams as needed. Deliver quality customer services to both internal and external constituents in a professional, helpful and courteous manner. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications	Associate’s degree, or equivalent coursework, is required. Any and all degrees must be from a recognized institutional accreditor. Two (2) years of professional video editing work experience in a professional work environment required. Demonstrated knowledge of video equipment, camera operation, personal computers, and methods and techniques used in the video editing field required. Proficiency working with PC and MAC computer systems required. Knowledge and proficiency using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects required. Proficiency utilizing MS Word and MS Excel required. Ability to enter data into Google Docs and update Google calendars required. Ability to work independently or as a team member required. Ability to work nights and Saturdays, as needed, is required. Ability to maintain sensitivity, understanding, and respect for a diverse academic environment inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social-economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds required.
