Watson Mills & Design is advancing monumental residential architectural millwork design for the most discerning project teams and owners across the United States. We deliver industry-leading design, engineering, state-of-the-art manufacturing, and exacting installation for the world's finest homes.
Position Overview:
The Purchasing Manager sources and purchases products for Watson Mills & Design projects. Their key duties include locating suppliers, establishing relationships, researching goods, services, and materials, negotiating the best pricing, and processing purchase orders.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with project managers and engineering in purchasing materials and other items necessary for completing projects.
Help to define project specific purchasing plans including identifying long lead time items and purchasing to jobs.
Act as a partner in reviewing take off items and confirming quantities prior to developing purchase orders.
Create, review and process purchase orders.
Maintain inventories and monitor usage inconsistencies, price changes, deliveries, and supplier backorders.
Responsible for ensuring all purchasing and inventory data is accurately entered and updated in our ERP (Innergy).

2-5 Years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills both internally and with suppliers.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided via phone, email, or architectural plans.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office 365, including Excel software; Bluebeam software and CAD(AutoCAD/Revit/Sketch-Up) experience a plus.

Salary:
$60K - $95K Annual Salary
