Coordinate and supervise all aspects of a group/guest visit, from first contact to the evaluation and thank-you note after their departure, while securing future reservations whenever possible.
Ensure contact with all groups at least once a month until their visit, and one week prior to arrival to check on arrangements listed in the contract.
Accurately project Trout Lodge group-generated revenue and provide regular updates to key staff.
Schedule personal sales calls, respond to leads and make presentations to prospective groups.
Devise and implement sales strategies to meet the revenue goal, and control the budget.
Be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of the YMCA of the Ozarks conference facility, front desk, group reservations, food service and program departments as they relate to the guest.
Assist in giving on-site tours and closing sales with prospective group leaders.
Travel to property during peak times to ensure excellent customer service and visibility with groups.
Communicate conference details in a timely manner to group leaders, appropriate directors and department heads.
Provide quality control to the sales process.
Prepare all weekly reports for the Executive Director.
Responsible for inventory, maintenance and purchase of conference equipment including tables, chairs, and A/V equipment.
Performs all other duties as assigned
