Job Summary:

This position is designed for an intern who will assist in various legal projects, learning the various aspects of real property contracts and corporate securities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organizing and cataloguing the legal/deal file room
• Updates company information with the county tax assessors' offices.
• Researches real property deeds of our owned properties.
• Performs basic scanning and filing.
• Inputs contract information into a new system or validates information in the existing system.
• Verifies past documents are loaded into litigation management software.
• Keeps weekly journal of tasks and reports on progress to management.
• Supporting the creation of a facilities/real property information dashboard
• Commercial agreements review
• Attending meetings, as needed
  

• Previous work experience in a professional setting preferred.

• Third Year Law student
