Role/Responsibilities

As an Agile Delivery Lead you will be a key team(s) leader for Business engagement, work intake/story creation, and an Agile champion for your software development team. You'll be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating your agile team(s) to achieve a high level of performance and quality in line with Moody's operational and program standards. You will also be responsible for coordinating delivery using agile methods in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple business divisions.

Your background in delivering multiple agile projects directly will ensure that you are capable of managing teams, typically to deliver a operational support or application feature enhancements via a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled team.

This role will involve extensive interaction with stakeholders, management, and third party sub-contractors. Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills are essential combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to manage expectations and issues effectively and establish/maintain a high level of team confidence and delivery. Understanding of stakeholder engagement, to requirement gathering, to collaboration with technical resources is critical for success in this role.

You will also be expected to manage an agile team(s) on a daily basis following agile ceremonies; assist in team delivery while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; responsibility for ensuring team members track/report development within team project management solution; and mentoring and developing team members with best agile practices.

Qualifications


  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a closely related quantitative field

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience as an Analyst, Software Engineer, or in related position performing systems development, project management, or information architecture.

  • Must have experience with the following: implementing software development lifecycle methodologies including Agile Scrum and Kanban; utilizing knowledge of business requirements to develop business process management solutions; documenting business requirements and functional specifications for story creation, and backlog prioritization utilizing JIRA.

Preferred:


  • Extensive experience as a Delivery Lead or Project manager within a large multidiscipline environment.

  • Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.

  • Certifications or training with a focus on Scrum Master or Product ownership.

  • Experience with operational disciplines, java based code development, legacy system support, or AWS is also desired.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$102,300 - [[$148,350, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
