Title: Customer Service Support/Office Assistant - Full Time

Location: Denver, Colorado

Position Overview

The Western Sugar Cooperative has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Support/Office Assistant. This position will assist in an array of cross-functional responsibilities. The person needs to excel in a team environment supporting others across the office. The person should have a strong attention to detail and communication. The role will primarily support customer service while also contributing to the administrative support across the cooperative.

Essential Functions
  • Support Customer Service Team in key focus areas of order entry, contract management, and customer claim submissions.
  • Process and distribute customer complaints as needed
  • Customer Portals: Upload and manage information within customer supplier portals or systems
  • Support CS as a back up for monitoring errors in the PartnerLinQ Portal where EDI orders/invoices are transmitted.
  • Complete customer price change forms and new product item forms
  • Compile customer related data to support the Sales Team
  • Maintain data base for customer specifications
  • Support and engage with Marketing and communication activities
  • Support entering basic supplier information for customer bid processes, including requests for quotes (RFQ) or request for proposals (RFP)
  • Handling office tasks, such as filling, generating reports, setting up meetings
  • Overseeing office cleaning and maintenance performed by building; copier maintenance, mail (outbound and sorting inbound), postage machine, Fedex & UPS
  • Ordering and reordering office supplies
  • Checking office voice mail and routing callers to the appropriate party
  • Organize and distribute daily mail
  • Greet and assist visitors
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, email, and mail
  • Organize new hire access (building, phone, office space) and supplies (business cards, email)
  • Maintaining phone lists
  • Plan meeting lunches

Skill & Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma required. Preferred Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • Superior customer service approach
  • Excellent computer competence (Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel)
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Take initiative and set high personal standards of performance
