Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently seeking a Facility Technician to join our team! As a Facility Technician you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations to help ensure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times. You will find meaningful work in this role with the opportunity to collaborate and make a positive impact every day!

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the maintenance of any buildings on the grounds of Heritage Ministries such as power, water and electrical systems. May be responsible to respond to emergencies and must take appropriate action in the case of maintenance emergencies. Responsible for the general appearance of buildings and grounds. May have to work outside around plants such as poison ivy, sumac and oak. Repairs and maintains equipment when needed. Assists with regular preventative maintenance on all equipment.. Assists in ordering supplies, maintaining supply cupboards and monitoring condition of equipment for necessary repairs.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED/TASC required.Some experience in maintenance is required such as a basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, construction, and machine repair.Ability to work independently and handle emergencies. Ability to lift over 60 pounds, stand, walk, sit, bend, and twist. Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks and assignments. Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, residents, vendors, and volunteers.
