Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Finance Business Systems Administrator (Unanet) in Columbia, MD.

Duties Include:


  • Finance Business Systems Administrator will administer and maintain the Finance Platforms, including user setup (roles and access), permissions management, and system configurations

  • Configure and customize Unanet modules to align with business processes and requirements

  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system-related problems

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and implement solutions using Unanet

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into project performance and financial data

  • Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance and security

  • As a Finance Business Systems Administrator, you will conduct training sessions and create policies and other documentation to educate users on Unanet functionality and best practices

  • Stay informed about new features, updates, and industry trends related to Unanet and project management software

  • Document processes, procedures, and system configurations to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to maintain IT controls and support external audit







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field

  • Proven experience as a Finance System Administrator or similar role, with in-depth knowledge of Unanet functionality and administration; Costpoint experience a plus

  • Strong understanding of project management principles, financial systems, and accounting concepts

  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Unanet modules, including Time and Expense, Project Management, Financials, and Reporting

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Deltek Costpoint Certification or similar credentials are desirable

  • Experience with system integration, data migration, and software implementation projects is a plus

  • Experience in Help Desk or IT Environment a plus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
