The Kansas Medical Center's Cardiac Rehab Program provides care and support to our patients in an outpatient setting, providing rehabilitation through specialized conditioning to ensure our patients return to a baseline cardiac status. The RN Cardiac Rehab Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, including assessment, direct physical care, evaluation, teaching and counseling. Communicating and coordinating with the physicians on assessments and monitoring patient needs to make appropriate changes in care plans.
The program has great growth potential with the right person leading the way, working in conjunction with the CNO and COO to ensure expected outcomes and goals are met and recognize practice opportunities.The program requires a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience as a Cardiac/Telemetry nursing experience, and at least 1 year of experience with Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehabilitation is preferred.
