We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Sales Tax Compliance Analyst to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) team.

This position will support our National Tax team, which in turn supports the firm's broader tax practice. The right candidate will assist with the compliance team, which is a specialized group that helps ensure clients meet their tax compliance requirements. YOUR ROLE.




Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist clients in registering for sales and use tax accounts in jurisdictions across the US


• Assist in onboarding process for new sales tax compliance clients, including set-up of returns software and internal technology tools to manage process


• Interacting with clients to gather data required to prepare and file sales & use tax returns


• Preparing and reviewing returns


• E-filing sales & use tax returns


• Monitoring engagement metrics, billing and updating online reports


• Attending internal and external conference calls as needed


• Assisting with documentation analysis

YOUR EXPERIENCE.




The successful candidate will have:

• 2+ years of Sales & Use tax compliance experience


• Intermediate user of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)


• Strong analytical and reasoning skills


• Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills, along with the ability to build and maintain a strong relationship with both firm and client personnel
