Gridiron IT is seeking a talented "Integrated Submarine Imaging System (ISIS) Engineering Technician" to support ongoing submarine fleet modernization efforts. This is a fulltime position working out of Groton, CT.
The ISIS Engineering Technician will provide onsite installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of ISIS AN/BVY-1.
You Will:
Install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at Company and client sites
Perform or coordinate test and evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks of AN/BVY-1 systems
Perform validations/verifications of various electronic systems related to the operation of the ISIS System and Photonics Mast Variants (PMV) to include Mast Technical Insertion (MTI) and Low Profile Photonics Mast (LPPM)
Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), Technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements
Implement Engineering Change Instructions (ECI)
Train others in the operation and performance of the AN/BVY-1 system(s)
Be the direct on-site customer interface for equipment/system installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed
Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, system specifications and test procedures
You Have:
U.S. Citizenship
Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.
Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and creating solutions to problems in operational hardware and software systems

Ability to travel up to 10%
Education/Experience:
Technical (Military/Vocational) school/training beyond high school and at least 5 years of job-related experience
Experience in electronics and electrical systems
