Duration: 3-6+ Contract to hire



Role Overview: Join our Cyber Data Management team as a Data Modeler and become an integral part of our mission to safeguard critical data flows within our corporate landscape. Your expertise in data model creation and implementation will be pivotal in enhancing our cybersecurity infrastructure. Collaborate with top-tier cybersecurity professionals and data scientists to fortify our global data architecture, ensuring it not only supports but also advances our security protocols.

• Data Scientist/Data Modeler ideal
• Extensive experience in data science and analysis
• Needs to have an understanding of cyber security space
• Building a data dictionary to hold all of our security information - where its lived, where its used, how all the data is housed analytic language tools
• Python, Java, - competent does not need to be expert
• Built data models
• Create stories around these data model
• Power BI for building dashboards
• Background in data architect could be helpful
• Someone that can help make the data better and organized
• Asset inventory
• Elastic Search would be good
• Talend for digesting data
• Data mapping experience
• Utilizing Google Chronicle on the backend
• 1-5 years of experience but Open to different levels of years of experience as long as they have the experience above!
• Needs to be able to work independently!!
• A lot of freedom to define how this role is performed and delivered

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and manage sophisticated data models to bolster data management strategies.
• Partner with tech teams to devise data solutions that are both secure and efficient.
• Convert complex business requirements into sustainable data model architectures.
• Continuously refine our data structures to maximize value and minimize risks.
• Integrate robust security frameworks into data models in consultation with cybersecurity analysts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated expertise in data modeling and data architecture.
• Profound knowledge of database principles and data modeling best practices.
• Proficiency with data modeling tools, including Excel, Visio, MySQL, Python, Oracle, Big Query, Talend, Power BI, Axonius.
