Job Description: Maintenance Reliability Engineer$90,000 to $125,000 Annually
Essential Functions:

Safety Design and Improvement: Modify and enhance safety designs for equipment and facilities.

Safety Investigations: Conduct safety investigations and implement corrective actions.

Maintenance Program Development: Develop, document, and enhance preventive maintenance programs to boost equipment availability and throughput.

Predictive Maintenance: Establish and improve predictive maintenance programs using techniques like vibration analysis and thermo-graphic imaging.

Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting support for equipment failures and production losses, offering technical guidance to minimize downtime.

Continuous Improvement: Analyze production delay data to modify preventive maintenance tasks and initiate continuous improvement projects.

Root Cause Analysis: Prepare and review equipment failure/root cause analysis reports, evaluating corrective action impacts.

Cost Justification: Develop cost justifications for improvement projects and corrective actions.

Work Order Management: Generate work orders for implementing improvement projects or corrective actions, ensuring proper completion.

Contractor Coordination: Coordinate outside contractor activities to minimize cost and production impacts.

Spare Parts Management: Assess critical spare parts and standardize parts as necessary.

Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and implement SOPs, training, and skill development programs.

Performance Metrics: Establish appropriate performance metrics for long-term continuous improvement aligned with departmental objectives.

Problem Resolution Support: Provide support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and enhanced working relationships.

Project Engineering: Perform Project Engineering duties as required.

Leadership Role: Fill in for Supervisors or Department Managers when necessary.

Other Duties: Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Formal training or experience in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs.
- 3-5 years of experience in Maintenance Engineering or Maintenance Supervision.
Special Skills:
- Proficient in electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs.
- Expertise in a specific engineering field.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical problems.
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance and Lean Manufacturing.
- Training in maintenance disciplines such as hydraulics, welding, machining, etc.
- Leadership abilities with a focus on results.
- Working knowledge of TOC/Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
